To thank Mazu for her blessings, Chen Keng-han, a BnB owner in Beigang, makes steamed buns and boiled dumplings so that travelers can enjoy 5-star restaurant quality in Beigang.

Chen Keng-han, who was once a chef in a major hotel in the city, wanted to return to his hometown of Yunlin to live and work and find peace and contentment. Finally, when the timing was right, he returned to Beigang with his wife and children to start a business. He said that, with the blessings of Mazu, there’s been no shortage of food and luck. He believes that when your belly is full, you have the strength to work hard and create luck. These sentiments led to the birth of Jiayun (“Added Fortune”) Bun Shop.

Fresh and local Yunlin pork from “Happy Pigs” is sourced as the main ingredient for the fillings. Our food communicates the local, traditional passion. The buns are slightly smaller than usual, to make each bite exquisite, substantial, and satisfying.
