Centered on Boziliao Putian Temple, artists were invited to this small fishing village to give it an artistic makeover. The Chinese mythology-themed painting echoes the mystical aura of local temples, such as Bao Gong of the renowned Baogong Temple (Haiqing Temple) in Sihu; Pangu Separating the Sky from the Earth; the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, and many other familiar characters of Chinese myths. This painting spans more than 1 km and these interesting creative works have injected vitality in Boziliao.

In 2018, in addition to injecting more local elements into the creative works, the village partnered with the Tourism Bureau’s mascot, OhBear, to install 4D sculptures as well as Taiwan’s first and exclusive "double-sided paintings", turning it into the "OhBear Art Village". This made the whole art village more alive and fun, attracting both domestic and foreign tourists and turning it into a popular “check-in” spot.
