The building is a large rectangular prism, wrapped in an organic-feeling brise soleil grille painted black and bronze. The first floor is supplemented with tall, narrow columns that are finished in raw concrete molding, juxtaposed with floor-to-ceiling windows that add airiness. The overall effect is of a visual contrast with the solid body of the building, giving it a sense of solidity while also adding lightness. The grille design on the exterior of the building blocks the scorching sun from the west. The way the grille’s shade changes with the sunlight helps highlight the calm texture of the bronze color, while also enriching the feeling of visual layers. Sunlight falls into the room through the slits of the grille, adding a touch of warmth to the elegant decor, and giving you a taste of light and tranquility.
